Why CCSS Exists
Relationships & Accountability First
CCSS was not created simply to provide hours of support. It was created to build the kind of relationships and accountability families should be able to expect from their provider.
When lived experience informs care leadership, the definition of success changes. It is measured in trust earned, routines respected, and genuine choices realized every day.
Quality First
Committed that people never become numbers and quality precedes growth.
Accountability
Open-door leadership where families are always heard and respected.
Meet Elaine
Leadership Rooted in Lived Experience & Genuine Care
"I founded Complex Care & Support Services with a very personal understanding of what it means to place your trust in the people supporting someone you love. Lived experience has shaped the way I lead CCSS and the standards I expect across our organisation.
For me, good disability support is not about filling a roster. It is about knowing the person, building trust, communicating honestly and creating a team that understands what safety, dignity, choice and a meaningful life look like for that individual.
I want participants and families to feel that they can speak to us, ask questions and be heard. I also want our team to understand the responsibility that comes with being invited into someone’s life. As CCSS grows, I remain committed to ensuring that people never become numbers and that quality always comes before growth."
